Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Roadway Designer I to join our Civil‑Roadway team. You will work on transportation projects with state and local agencies, performing models, analyses, designs, and supporting calculations, and coordinating drafting of project elements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• E.I.T (or desire to obtain P.E. in the future) preferred.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects.
• Willingness to adapt to office and field inspection tasks.
• The position may include the need to perform Field Inspection and may require travel to project sites.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detailed, organized individual who thrives in deadline-driven environments.

Roadway Designer I

Join our growing Civil‑Roadway team as a Designer I. In this role you will work on various transportation projects with state and local transportation agencies. As a Designer you will perform engineering models, analysis and/or designs, and supporting calculations / documentation. You will also coordinate the drafting of project elements for various clients.
