Job summary

Ardurra seeks a Transportation Engineer III to join the Transportation team in Orlando, FL. The role focuses on state roadway design and production, supporting a mix of Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build projects. The candidate should independently execute design tasks using client standards and ORD/MicroStation.

The ideal engineer will contribute to planning, design, and documentation, coordinating with internal teams while ensuring compliance with state standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 4–6+ years of transportation/roadway design experience.
• Strong proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Ability to independently perform roadway design and plan production.

Responsibilities

• Develop roadway design plans per client standards, including alignments and quantities.
• Utilize MicroStation and ORD for 3D modeling and plan production.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations, specifications, and supporting docs.
• Ensure work products meet client criteria, schedule, cost and quality.
• Coordinate with drainage, traffic, and structures teams.
• Review design for constructability and sequencing.
• Support design-build and design-bid-build delivery.
