Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects.
• Prepare surfaces for paving and assist in patching asphalt with hot and cold mix.
• Shovel bituminous concrete into construction areas and fine grade to instructed levels.
• Excavate and fill trenches, maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Load/unload materials, assist other craft workers, and report safety issues.
