A leading engineering firm is seeking an experienced CEI Inspector in the Daytona Beach, FL area to support their FDOT highway team. Responsibilities include inspecting contractor work, performing material testing, and reviewing quality control procedures. Candidates should have a high school diploma, relevant experience on roadway or bridge projects, and CTQP certification. The position offers a base salary range of $59,000 to $60,320, paid hourly based on worked hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous experience in roadway or bridge projects is essential.
• Valid state driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Determine acceptability of contractor's day-to-day work.
• Review and recommend accepting or rejecting daily reports.
• Perform inspection of quality control procedures.
• Conduct material testing as per approved Quality Control Plan.
• Review material testing procedures for contract conformance.
