Job summary

Jennmar in Four Corners Area seeks an experienced Asphalt Paver Operator to join our construction team. You will operate asphalt paving machines, screeds, and support equipment to place asphalt per project specs, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with paving machinery, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating asphalt paving equipment is required.
• Experience operating screeds and related paving equipment preferred.
• Experience with loaders, excavators, dump trucks and concrete equipment.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to identify minor equipment issues.
• Ability to read project plans, grades, and elevations; strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt paving machines and screeds to lay asphalt per specs.
• Perform routine inspections and minor repairs on paving equipment.
• Monitor asphalt placement, grade, depth, and alignment for quality.
• Assist with material handling and bituminous materials as needed.
• Operate additional heavy equipment to support paving operations.
• Maintain records of inspections, maintenance, and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and project procedures.
