Job summary

Pomp’s Tire Service is seeking a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to join our outdoor team. You’ll respond to roadside calls, mount and replace tires on commercial vehicles, and perform on-the-road inspections to keep fleets rolling safely.

Must have a valid driver’s license, be willing to work nights and overtime, and lift heavy loads in all weather. We offer competitive pay with overtime, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with company match, and opportunities for skill development.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements on the road.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
