Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service, Inc. is seeking a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to join our team. In this role you will respond to roadside service calls, change and replace tires on commercial vehicles, and perform on-the-road tire mounting and dismounting with efficiency.

You will inspect tires and vehicles for additional issues, maintain tools and a clean work area, and work independently in varying weather conditions to keep fleets moving. Night shifts and overtime are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and ability to pass screening.
• Willingness to work nights, overtime, and non-standard hours.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements efficiently while on the road.
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify any additional issues.
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations.
