Job summary

Pomp’s Tire Service, Inc. is seeking a Roadside Commercial Tire Technician to promptly respond to calls and service commercial tires on the road.

This outdoor role requires safe tire mounting and repair under various weather conditions in a mobile environment. You will inspect tires and vehicles, maintain tools, and work independently with a valid driver’s license, possibly including night shifts and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours.
• Experience with commercial vehicles and basic mechanical skills preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting and dismounting on the road.
• Inspect tires and vehicles to identify additional issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and tools.
• Work independently in all weather conditions.

What You’ll Do:

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial vehicles
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements efficiently while on the road
• Conduct thorough inspections of tires and vehicles to identify any additional issues
• Ensure a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations

What You Need:

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment driver’s screening
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills
• Ability to safely change and repair commercial tires on the road in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally
