Job summary

The Williamsport Sun-Gazette is seeking a full-time Laborer/Sewer Dept in Liberty Township to support road and property maintenance. Operate vehicles and equipment in varied weather conditions and report to the Roadmaster & Sewer Manager.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of outdoor work; CDL Class B is preferred. Training provided for safety with front-end loader and cinder loading, with snow/ice control duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience with standard shift vehicles and outdoor work.
• CDL Class B preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate township vehicles and tractors to maintain roads and property.
• Perform road and property maintenance in various weather conditions.
• Assist with snow/ice control as needed.
• Learn front-end loader safety and cinder loading.
