Job summary

American Structurepoint is seeking a student for Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic) to contribute to roadway designs, alignments, and reporting. The role involves 3D modeling and software usage across MicroStation/Geopak, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and related tools.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Civil or related engineering disciplines, have reliable transportation, and demonstrate a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering with Civil emphasis.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway designs, lay out alignments, create typical sections, and develop engineering reports.
• 3D modeling and use of MicroStation/Geopak, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, OpenBridge, Merlin Dash, Quick Bridge.
• Projects include roundabouts, bridge replacements & rehabilitations, urban/rural roads and large interstate improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities in our Transportation Design Groups (Road, Bridge, Traffic)

• Contribute to roadway designs, lay out alignments, and create typical sections, site assessment and engineering report development.
• 3D modeling and work with Microstation/Geopak, AutoCad, Blubeam, Open Bridge, Merlin Dash, Quick Bridge,
• Different projects would include, Roundabouts, Bridge Replacements and Rehabilitations, Urban Roads, Rural Roads and Large Interstate Improvements
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Student majoring in any of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Land Survey or Structural Engineering or other related programs with an emphasis on Civil Engineering
• Reliable transportation to and from office location
• Strong work ethic, willingness to learn and try new things
