U-Haul in New York is seeking a Transfer Driver to move equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop, ensuring timely service and the highest quality care for customers.

You will use U-Haul’s proprietary transfer tools, complete electronic paperwork, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain a driver log. The company offers paid time off, benefits and opportunities for advancement. The role requires a valid license, 18+, and DOT certification if required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Able to use mobile transfer programs.
• D.O.T. certification if required—can be sponsored by U-Haul.
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Fill in receipt and intake paperwork electronically.
• Transport U-Haul equipment between U-Haul centers, dealerships and the repair shop.
• Perform visual inspections of equipment.
• Maintain a driver log.
• Team Members are expected to willingly lend assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of their supervisor.
