King County Road Services Division is seeking a Road Log Manager (Project/Program Manager II) for a Special Duty Assignment of about six months. The position supports the Roads’ Project/Program Support team and reports within the Division’s governance structure.
Responsibilities include administering the GIS-Mo asset management system, updating the Road Log with network changes, coordinating updates across groups, and producing Road Rating reports.
This recruitment is to fill a Special Duty Assignment and is open only to King County – Department of Local Services employees who are not currently on probation. This SDA position is anticipated to last 6 months.

This position is open only to King County – Department of Local Service employees who are not currently on probation. First consideration will be given to current PROTEC17 members in the same classification that are eligible for lateral transfer.
The work week is normally Monday through Friday, 8.00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but may at times require work outside of normal business hours. This position is Non-Exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standard Act and is eligible for overtime pay, with prior supervisor approval.
This position has been designated Mission-Critical. Those employees who provide, maintain, and re-establish essential county functions as described in agency Continuity of Operations plans.

We will work in the office at least three days a week to foster connection and responsiveness, arrive prepared and on time, and structure meetings with clear goals and next steps. The work associated with this position will be performed by teleworking, field work, onsite work and meetings as needed. The primary onsite location is at King Street Center, 201 S. Jackson, Seattle, WA 98104. Employees must reside in Washington State and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
