Job summary

Total Civil Construction & Engineering, LLC is hiring skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join field teams across the Mid-Atlantic. The role involves operating dozers, cranes, excavators, loaders and other equipment for civil projects, with a flexible schedule including nights/weekends.

Applicants should have 5 years of heavy equipment experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work safely and communicate clearly with crews.

Qualifications

• Must have 5 years of prior experience operating heavy equipment.
• Active driver's license; DOT/CDL may be required for certain equipment.
• Ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
• Flexible to work odd hours, including nights and weekends.
• Physical capability to operate heavy and power-driven equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Operates excavators, dozers, loaders, rollers and related machinery.
• Assist crew with digging ditches, loading materials and rigging.
• Maintain production records and comply with safety standards.
• Respond to signals and coordinate with staff; may assist with GPS software.
