Job summary

CENTRAL TRANSPORT LLC in Missouri seeks a Road Driver Associate Trainee (Overnight Shift) for new CDL graduates. This role combines driving and dock duties, including loading and unloading freight and performing pre-trip inspections.

You will operate dry vans and forklifts, follow routes, maintain accurate delivery records, and pursue a path toward becoming a professional LTL driver within a supportive benefits package and a company focused on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have: Certificate of completion, transcripts, letter of recommendation from driving school, DOT physical, long-form medical certificate
• Experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive dry vans and forklifts as assigned
• Safely transport goods to designated terminals and meet points
• Follow routes and schedules for efficient delivery
• Load and unload cargo using forklift or dock equipment
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Maintain delivery records including mileage and fuel usage

Road Driver Associate Trainee (Overnight Shift) - For New CDL Graduates.

Duties similar as a Local Linehaul Driver. Must be a recent Graduate from an accredited Tractor Trailer Driving School. Dedicated Home Daily routes hauling freight to terminals/ and meet points in our network. This position is a combination of driving and dock work.

• Must have: Certificate of completion Transcripts Letter of Recommendation from Driving school DOT physical Long form- 5 pages

Responsibilities

• Operate and drive various types of vehicles, including but not limited to: dry vans and forklifts
• Safely transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient delivery
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

• Proficient in heavy equipment operation, including forklifts and other machinery
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
• Ability to handle various types of cargo, including freight and hazardous materials
