Road & Bridge- Operator I# Road & Bridge- Operator IAtchison County Road and Bridge - Atchison, KS 66002## Description**Department: Road & Bridge****Reports to: Foremen’s; Office Manager; Road & Bridge Superintendent****FLSA: Non-Exempt****Position Summary**Under the supervision of the Superintendent and Foremen’s, the Equipment Operator I maintain and repairs county roads and bridges. The employee in this position is required to operate trucks and perform manual labor for road and bridge maintenance, hauling and spreading rock, snow removal and related duties. The Equipment Operator I must be able to operate department equipment, power and hand tools and must know construction standards and related information that apply to their project. Utilizes accepted standards of safety in all phases of designed duties. Follows objectives and policies that are predetermined by the County of Atchison.**Essential Functions***This is not a comprehensive listing of all functions and duties performed by and Equipment Operator I.
