Qualifications

• 0-3 years for Inspection Trainee candidates.
• 3-6 years of experience for Inspector candidates.
• 6+ years of experience for Senior Inspector candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform transportation construction inspections.
• Write daily progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents.

Skills

Contractor or inspection experience in roadway construction

Knowledge of VDOT specifications and standards

Proficiency in mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry)

Skill in the use of field engineering equipment

Proficiency in MS Office and project management software
