Job summary

ESI Solutions, a division of TransTech Energy, seeks an Operator/WellField Technician to operate RNG Plant facilities and optimize landfill gas collection. You will work with Plant Operators and the Field Operations Supervisor to perform routine and non-routine maintenance.

This is a hands-on role with a strong safety culture and teamwork support. This position requires independence, reliability, and willingness to travel to other Plants as needed while maintaining compliance and equipment

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of Plant operations and related experience.
• Trade school certification or equivalent recognized credential.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Basic Windows computer skills.
• Established troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with maintenance planning and preventive maintenance strategies.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently, self-motivate, and communicate with customers and team members.
• Must be able to safely climb ladders and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Compliance with DOT regulations including pre-employment and random testing.
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for company coverage.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the Plant and equipment safely and professionally.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems; remote and on-site support available.
• Maximize SCADA utilization for predictive and proactive operations.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on major and ancillary equipment.
• Use ODMS to record events and plant data.
• Understand and assist with compliance regulations and permits.
• Respond to plant callouts within 2 hours.
• Assist training of coworkers and temporary Operators.
• Travel to support other Plants or training as needed.
• Follow SOPs and contribute to SOP development.
• Maximize plant efficiencies and take on additional duties as assigned.
