Job summary

Vitol BioMethane, LLC is seeking an on-site RNG Technician to lead full-scope operations of the wellfield, GCCS, RNG plant, and pipeline systems across our LFGTE projects nationwide. This hands-on leadership role requires safety focus and reliability to maximize methane recovery while maintaining regulatory compliance.

You will analyze performance data, coordinate with landfill management, supervise preventive maintenance, mentor technicians, and ensure accurate documentation in CMMS and KPI

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or vocational cert preferred.
• 5+ years RNG/landfill gas or industrial gas ops, with 2+ years in lead role.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate complex maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of process controls, SCADA, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee wellfield optimization strategies to maximize methane recovery.
• Analyze performance data to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance of GCCS and plant systems.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain maintenance records and review operational reports for KPIs.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across operations.
