Job summary

EDL is seeking an experienced RNG Plant Maintenance Planner to lead maintenance planning, scheduling internal and external personnel, and ensure asset reliability at our RNG plant in Indiana. The role collaborates with Operations and Plant Teams to keep production on plan and safety compliant.

The candidate will manage outages, maintain preventive maintenance schedules, and optimize spares and budgets while coordinating third-party contractors and sustaining strong health & safety practices.

Responsibilities

• RNG asset maintenance management and scheduling for internal and external personnel.
• Coordinate with RNG Operations Team to ensure successful maintenance outcomes.
• Maintain RNG Plant to meet production and maintenance plans.
• Plan and schedule major maintenance outages.
• Knowledge of PM schedules, electrical GEAMS and maintenance schedules.
• Maintenance resource planning to support start-up and operations.
• Identify critical inventory and spares; manage on-site inventory.
• Analyze operations data to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Support operations to maximize plant performance while minimizing costs.
• Arrange third-party assistance when required and oversee contractors.
• Ensure health and safety obligations are met and promote safe practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Company.

Job description

Key Areas of Responsibility

• RNG asset maintenance management, planning and scheduling both internal and external support personnel for the RNG plant.
• Work closely with the RNG Operations Team and RNG Plant Team to ensure continuity of support and successful maintenance related outcomes.
• Ensure the RNG Plant is being maintained to meet production and the asset maintenance plans.
• Manage planning, communications with RNG Plant Team and support labour for maintenance outages.
• Planning, coordination, and scheduling of major plant maintenance outages
• Be knowledgeable of mechanical preventive maintenance schedules, electrical GEAMS and maintenance schedules in support of RNG Plant compliance.
• Maintenance resource planning to effectively support start-up and operations of the RNG plant.
• Identification of critical inventory and spares and support strategy for procuring and maintaining on site inventory.
• Analyse operations and maintenance data to make recommendations for improving productivity and efficiency in operations.
• Support Operations by ensuring that the RNG plant is running at full potential while minimizing direct costs.
• Arrange for outside third-party assistance when required and manage and oversee any third-party contractors working onsite.
• Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations
• Support and comply with Company policies and procedures as advised and documented in the Company’s employment policies as amended from time to time and as directed by Managers/Supervisors
• In addition to the duties set out above, the ? may be expected to perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the Company

Qualifications and Experience

• Proficient using computers and monitoring equipment to measure, record and adjust equipment and operating parameters
• Reliable, committed and motivated to achieving company and team goals and objectives
• The work is physical in nature. Ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, crawl, climb, stoop, walk for extended periods.
• Prior supervisory/management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with electrical and rotational equipment
• Experience with setting and adhering to budgets and understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Experience with setting site maintenance schedules, preferably with both gas field, gas plant and engines
• Experience adhering to Health and safety responsibilities and requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
• Ability to occasionally travel by automobile and/or airline for extended periods of time.
