Job summary

Tomorrow RNG is seeking a Landfill Gas Field Technician to monitor and balance the landfill gas wellfield, ensuring optimal performance and regulatory compliance. You will collect data such as flow, temperature, and gas composition from wells using specialized equipment and enter results into the wellfield system daily.

The role requires walking in challenging conditions, driving an all-terrain vehicle, and adhering to strict safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Basic hand tools knowledge is required for field maintenance and data collection.
• Willingness to do physical work and learn field procedures on site.
• Fundamentals of computers and MS applications for data entry and reporting.
• No prior experience necessary; training is provided on site.

Responsibilities

• Learn to identify test ports, measure differential, and determine flow.
• Perform walk-around inspections of field trucks and equipment.
• Collect vent samples and log data into the computer accurately.
• Run gas chromatography to collect samples and balance wells.
• Enter data into the wellfield management program and generate daily reports.
• Maintain safety practices and timely maintenance logs.
