Job summary

Seaboard Foods RNG Management seeks a Biogas Technician to operate and maintain RNG facilities. You will work in a team to meet operations and safety goals, monitor control room and field equipment, and perform required repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems.

Strong English communication, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to work a rotating on-call schedule are essential. A technical background in biology/chemistry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret English language material.
• Ability to present information clearly to groups or individuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor/Operate RNG facilities from field locations and control room.
• Support safety goals and continuous improvement plans.
• Perform maintenance and repairs per safety rules and work orders.
• Keep daily operation and maintenance records up to date.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on water, air, heat exchangers and pumps.
• Maintain compressors, motors, pumps and valves in operation.
• Diagnose and communicate issues for electrical power and control systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools and precision instruments as needed.
• Willing to work rotating on-call schedule and respond to callouts.
