Job summary

Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, in partnership with Northeastern University, offers a two-year Safety and Risk Management fellowship based in Cambridge, MA. The program develops pharmacovigilance skills for Pharm.D. graduates through hands-on experience in drug safety profiles and signal management.

Responsibilities include supporting safety data collection and reporting, and contributing to risk management plans as part of the SRM team.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution.
• Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Massachusetts.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects at both the industry site and Northeastern.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and strategic assistance to Safety Product Leads to support Alnylam products.
• Participate in the collection, interpretation, and presentation of safety data in internal forums.
• Support signal detection and management activities with Lead Safety Physicians and PV Scientists.
• Engage in safety data review, analysis, and reporting of safety data to internal and external stakeholders by planning, managing, and authoring safety aggregate reports (e.g. PBRERs, DSURs).
• Participate in the development and management of Risk Management Plans.
