Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Surprise seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care Specialist to coordinate wound care therapy within the nursing plan, and to lead patient and family education in the clinical setting.

You will collaborate with the care team, maintain nursing standards, and perform duties as assigned; position reports to the Director of Wound Care and requires an active RN license and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited school of nursing and current RN license in the practicing state.
• Certification from an approved Wound Care Certification course is preferred. CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate wound care therapy into the total nursing care plan for patients.
• Participate in patient and family teaching and education.
• Provide leadership by collaborating with nursing and patient care teams to maintain professional nursing standards in the clinical setting.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
