Job summary

Northgate Health Care Facility in Tonawanda, NY is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. No weekends, 3 day shifts per week (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 22.5 hours weekly). Rate $34-$38/hr depending on experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required with active registration.
• Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, or acute care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to supervise and delegate within a healthcare team.
• CPR certification required (or obtained on hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents per care plans and physician orders.
• Administer medications, IVs, and treatments as prescribed.
• Assess and monitor resident conditions; document findings and report changes.
• Coordinate and supervise CNA and LPN staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and long-term goals.
• Maintain nursing documentation, care plans, and reports.
• Follow infection control, patient safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
