West Orange Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to care for our patients and support their speedy recovery. You will educate families on prevention and healthy habits, and follow health and safety guidelines faithfully to promote well-being.

The RN will monitor conditions, collaborate with physicians, supervise LPNs and nursing assistants, and provide bedside care with compassion in a team-focused environment. Weekend and part-time shifts may be available.

Formación

• RN License required
• Team Player
• Wound Care Certification preferred

Responsabilidades

• Monitor patient condition and assess needs to provide best care
• Observe and interpret symptoms and communicate to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans
• Perform routine procedures and charting
• Adjust and administer medications as ordered
• Maintain hygiene and safety; decontaminate equipment
• Provide prompt medical care in emergencies
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants
• Foster a compassionate environment for patients and families

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. The RN will be responsible for educating them and their families on prevention and healthy habits. The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained Registered Nurse who is able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. The RN will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse:

• Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice
• Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients
• Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts
• Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders
• Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.)
• Provide instant medical care in emergencies
• Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants
• Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Team Player
• Wound Care Certification is preferred
