Description:RN Wound Care position available.The role involves data collection and wound care management.The unit has multiple beds and a designated staff.Day shift wound certified nurses will be part of the team.Patient ratios are maintained according to standards.Equipments include Wound VAC, ABI Dopplers, surgical scissors and forceps, curettes, scalpels, vascular compression systems, and pressure relief mattresses/wedges.Products utilized include hydrogels, hydrocolloids, antimicrobial and biological barriers.The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech.Candidates with wound care certification will be prioritized.Typical procedures performed include wound debridement and advanced dressing applications.Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams is essential.Floating to all units in the facility may be required.The dress code includes wearing royal blue scrubs.Weekends and on-call duties may be needed as required.
