Job summary

Edward Elmhurst Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Elmhurst Main Hospital on the weekend nights shift, covering a mixed unit of General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice. The role requires collaboration with the clinical team to plan, implement, and evaluate the patient care plan.

Ideal candidates will have an Illinois RN license and an ADN or higher; CPR certification and chemotherapy/biotherapy certification within four years are required.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN is highest degree, must graduate with BSN within five years of start date.
• Current Illinois RN licensure is required.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification within four years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care by planning and evaluating the patient care plan.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide care for mixed units: General Surgical, Oncology/Chemo, and Hospice.
