Job summary

Endeavor Health in Naperville is seeking an experienced RN Weekender for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit to provide professional nursing care 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating holidays.

Requires 1+ year inpatient RN experience, ADN or BSN, Illinois RN licensure and CPR certification; BSN within five years if ADN held. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within a Magnet-recognized system.

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting.
• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN is highest, must graduate with a BSN within five years of start date.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois RN Practice Act and hospital policies.
• Assesses patient condition, plans and evaluates care, monitors progress, and records observations.
• Delegates appropriate patient care tasks and collaborates with the healthcare team.

Hourly Pay Range

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Endeavor Health is currently conducting a comprehensive review of our compensation structure. The new minimum for this role will be adjusted to $37.25 base pay hourly rate beginning with the second paycheck in October.

• Location: Edward Main Hospital - Naperville

• Full Time: 36 hours/week

• Hours: Days 7:00am-7:30pm with rotating holidays

What you will need:

Preferred Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Bachelor?s Degree or higher in Nursing

Required Education, Skills and/or Experience:

• Requires 1+ years' of RN experience in an inpatient unit setting

• Associate Degree or higher in Nursing

  • If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor?s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date.

Required License and/or Certification:

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure

• Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association or American Red Cross

What you will do:

Provides professional nursing care according in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies and procedures. Employs critical thinking skills, assesses patients? condition, recognizes changes, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients? progress, and records pertinent observations. Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff. Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
