Requirements include TX RN license, 2+ years in long-term care, BLS; ACLS preferred; on-site role with weekend hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of RN license and active practice in Texas registry.
• Two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare setting.
• Basic Life Support certification is required.

Responsibilities

About the Role:

The Weekend Supervisor - RN at Stallings Court plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care during weekend shifts. This position is responsible for overseeing clinical operations, managing nursing staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations every other weekend. The supervisor acts as a key liaison between nursing personnel, patients, and administrative teams to promote a safe, efficient, and compassionate care environment. They are tasked with addressing patient care issues promptly, coordinating resources, and supporting staff development to uphold the facility’s standards. Ultimately, this role ensures continuity of care and operational excellence during weekend hours, contributing to positive patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a long‑term care or rehabilitation setting.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and healthcare regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation facility.
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) or wound care certification.
• Previous experience managing weekend or off-shift nursing teams.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in long-term care.
• Training or coursework in healthcare quality improvement or patient safety.
