Job summary

Socorro Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a friendly Registered Nurse to render nursing care within the scope of practice to ensure patient’s needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies as well as state, federal and local guidelines. Requirements include an NM RN license or compact license and current BLS/CPR certification.

Nursing management experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license for New Mexico or a compact license.
• Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to acquire one.
• Experience in nursing management is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows established procedure for charting and incident reporting.
• Follows company procedures for narcotic counting, pharmacy orders, and restraint reduction.
• Documents any change in patient's conditions including nutrition, infections, skin issues, or weight loss.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Document and notify applicable departments of patient room changes, LOA, admissions, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Document and notify applicable departments of any patient's room changes, LOA, new admits, or discharges.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
