Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, is hiring an experienced RN for the Weekender Flex program on the 7 Medical-South Pointe Hospital unit. This role combines two 12-hour weekend shifts with one weekday shift, offering full-time status and comprehensive benefits.

You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, and educate patients and families while coordinating discharge needs in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• One year of current acute care RN experience; military RN experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Evaluate, update and revise plan of care to facilitate achievement of planned and expected outcomes.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and family with educational materials considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
