Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a virtual nursing staff nurse to deliver remote patient care from Atlantic Station in Atlanta. The role may also be seated at satellite locations and includes training at the Atlantic Station office.

The position involves night shifts (full-time and part-time) with 8- or 10-hour shifts starting in the early evening, including weekend coverage as part of regular schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience with telemedicine to remotely assess and plan patient care.
• RN with 2 years direct patient care in a hospital setting.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.
• Graduate from a nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Georgia state RN licensure and/or multistate licensure (NLC/eNCL) required.

• The virtual nursing staff nurse uses nursing processes and telemedicine to remotely assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients.
• The nurse works within organizational policies and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.

This is an on-site position based out of Atlantic Station in Atlanta. While the primary location is Atlantic Station, the role may be seated at one of our satellite locations: Piedmont Athens, Piedmont Henry or Piedmont Mountainside. Training will be conducted at the Atlantic Station office.

Night Shift Work Schedule:

Full-time: 8-hour & 10-hour shifts starting be tween 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM . Team members are also required to work 6 weekend shifts within a 6-week period as part of the regular schedule.

Part-time: 8-hour & 10-hour shifts starting between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM . Team members are also required to work 3 weekend shifts within a 6-week period as part of the regular schedule.

The virtual nursing staff nurse functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
