Job summary

Johnstown Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation in Johnstown, OH, is seeking an experienced RN with vent, trach, and high acuity resident care to join our long-term care team on-site. Description

Johnstown Pointe, a five-star skilled nursing facility located in Johnstown, OH, is currently looking for an experience vent, trach, and high acuity residents to join our team!

Key Responsibilities:

Ventilator Management: Monitor mechanical ventilator settings, track patient tolerance, and respond immediately to machine or pressure alarms.
Airway Care: Perform regular airway suctioning, tracheostomy care, and provide frequent oral care to prevent ventilator associated pneumonia.
Patient Assessment: Conduct routing clinical assessments including vital signs, breath sounds, oxygen saturation, and neurological status.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with respiratory therapists, physicians, and CNAs on interdisciplinary care plans.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate electronic health records, administer prescribed medications, and follow safety and infection control protocols.
