Job summary

Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, Virginia, is seeking an RN for the Vascular/Endovascular OR. This full-time role offers day/evening/night shifts with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. You will provide professional nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care in the EMR across age groups.

Required are a Virginia RN license (or eligibility) and BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be needed in assigned areas. Experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program.
• Current RN license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligibility.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required based on area.
• Keyboarding and computer literacy; EMR experience.

How You’ll Help Transform Healthcare:

RN opportunity in Vascular/ Endovascular OR at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. A Level 1 Trauma Center located in Roanoke, Virginia, CRMH is Magnet-designated. Sign on bonus available with relocation assistance. 30 minute call requirement.

The RN provides professional nursing care to patients across all age groups, supporting patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care. This role collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure safe, effective, and high-quality patient outcomes. The RN

• Provides individualized patient care and coordinates care delivery for patients of all ages.
• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Completes and documents age-specific assessments to support development of care plans.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Administers treatments and medications accurately and documents care in electronic medical records.
• Identifies and addresses patient and family education needs.

• Advocates for patients and supports their rights and psychosocial needs.

What We Require:

Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.

Experience: None.

Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required.

Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records. For Behavioral Health roles, must demonstrate ability to safely manage disruptive or potentially violent patients.

Compensation Range:

$33.52 - $50.28

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
