Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• 3-4 years clinical experience in acute care setting required.
• 2 years Case Management or Utilization Management experience preferred.
• 1-2 years leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of UM team and ensures adequate staffing for UM coverage.
• Mentors UR staff and oversees orientation of new UR Coordinators.
• Collaborates with nurse case managers and social workers to meet patient outcomes.
• Collects quality improvement data and monitors compliance with standards.
• Assists with implementing strategies to address trends in data analysis and outcome monitoring.
• Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams.
• Performs admission and concurrent reviews to determine necessity for acute care.
