Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Registered Nurse to join its Urgent Care Clinics. This 95% FTE role features day/evening shifts and a weekend/holiday rotation, with work at West Towne Clinic and Union Corners Clinic.

You'll provide episodic care to patients of all ages in a high-volume setting. You will perform face-to-face triage, assess acuity, and initiate treatments including IVs, fluids, medications, ECGs and wound care.

Qualifications

• RN license in WI or a compact state is required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required upon hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join Urgent Care Clinics team delivering episodic care to a diverse patient population.

• Stabilize patients for ED transfer by initiating IVs, administering fluids/medications, and performing procedures like ECGs and wound care.

Hours are based off the operational needs of the department. You will work at West Towne Clinic and Union Corners Clinic both located in Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred

Work Experience

• 6 months RN experience Required
• Relevant RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

• Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
• CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
• Applicable clinical certification Preferred
