Job summary

  • A minimum of 2 years in a relevant role is expected.
  • Certification: Hold a BLS certificate now or obtain within 30 days of starting in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize needs. Create, implement, and assess care plan to achieve outcomes. Adapt plan as necessary.
  • Observe indicators closely, support evidence-based changes with research and hands-on learning.

They work with other health care staff to deliver patient care effectively. Our Registered Nurses use the nursing process efficiently. They diagnose patient responses to health issues and create care plans accordingly. It includes evaluating healthcare needs and responses. Essential Functions Of The Role

  • Familiarity with nursing and patient care standards and procedures.
  • Awareness of legal requirements and standards of certification and accreditation bodies, including the specifics of the hospital and respective department/unit.
  • Good command of medical terminology, with a focus on healthcare promotion, risk reduction, and disease prevention.
  • Effective communication skills, along with social aptitude for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
  • Possessing critical thinking and problem-solving skills is crucial.
  • Capability to identify and report changes in patient conditions, develop, and modify patient care plans as required.
  • Basic computer skills necessary for day-to-day assignments.
