Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a current NY State license.

• Familiarity with regulations and standards governing long-term care facilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Unit Manager in managing daily operations of the nursing unit.
• Provide direct patient care, including developing and implementing individualized care plans.
• Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for resident care plans.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of resident care.
