Job summary

AristaCare at Parkside in Linden, NJ is seeking a Unit Manager (RN or LPN) to oversee care management for a defined population within an assigned unit. The role applies the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—under New Jersey licensure.

The Unit Manager coordinates resources, ensures timely care interventions, and promotes interdisciplinary communication to enhance patient and family satisfaction and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Valid RN or LPN license in New Jersey.
• At least 6 years as a supervisor in hospital or LTC.
• Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee care management for a defined patient population.
• Perform nursing process steps: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.
• Coordinate resource use and timely care interventions.
