Elderwood at Williamsville seeks an RN Unit Manager responsible for nursing services and oversight of social programming on the assigned unit around the clock, coordinating with physicians, families, and health professionals. This role manages nursing staff performance, participates in hiring, and ensures comprehensive care documentation and evaluation.

The position requires an active RN license, a minimum of two years in nursing with at least one year in leadership, and current BLS/CPR

Qualifications

  • Licensed RN with current registration in the applicable state.
  • Minimum of two (2) years nursing experience and at least one (1) year in a nursing leadership role.
  • Interest or experience in geriatrics.
  • Current BLS/CPR.
  • Experience with dementia population desirable.
  • English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and evaluate residents’ nursing care plans and coordinate interdisciplinary goals.
  • Maintain a safe, well-ordered unit environment for residents and staff.
  • Attend meetings and required trainings as scheduled by Administrator and Director of Nursing.
  • Generate ideas to improve quality of care and staff productivity.
  • Encourage staff involvement and recognize exceptional contributions.
