Job summary

Kettering Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Miamisburg for a full-time, 12-hour shift daytime role to provide patient-centered care. This position supports safety and quality across clinical settings with the health care team.

Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care while aligning with our mission and B Safe program. Ohio RN license and BLS are required or obtainable within 30 days; ADN or BSN required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers patient-centered nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in collaboration with the healthcare team. This role ensures the safety, quality, and continuity of care for patients across diverse clinical settings, supporting optimal patient outcomes and compliance with regulatory standards. Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).None required; clinical experience during nursing program accepted.Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). One year of clinical nursing experience in an acute care or relevant specialty setting. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or specialty certification applicable to clinical area.
