Job summary

Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed hospital offering women's services, obstetrics, fertility services, an emergency department and a Level I trauma program. The RN Coordinator Trauma/Womens supports obstetrical trauma patients throughout the hospital, working with the Director of Trauma Services to ensure timely, high-quality, patient-centered care.

Required certifications include ACLS, BCLS, NRP, TNCC within stated timeframes, along with an RN license and an associate degree.

Qualifications

• RN healthcare professional with current license
• ACLS, BCLS, NRP, TNCC certifications compliant within specified timeframes
• Associate Degree or higher in nursing required

Responsibilities

• Provide care for obstetrical trauma patients in a patient/family centered approach.
• Coordinate trauma care across departments (Trauma Resuscitation bay, Radiology, OR, PACU, ICU).
• Collaborate with Trauma Services leadership to identify and act on performance improvement opportunities.
