Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the 7S unit, a 20-bed general medical-surgical floor in Monroeville. The RN will lead care delivery, assess patients, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires PA RN licensure (or eNLC) and CPR certification, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care, continuous learning, and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Active PA RN license or multi-state licensure via eNLC required.
• CPR certification required.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate required.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate required.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Clearance Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting on the 7S unit.
• Delivers and coordinates patient care for a 20-bed general medical-surgical unit.
• Assesses patient condition and plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care.
• Delegates tasks to LPNs and support staff under appropriate supervision.
• Maintains patient safety and quality initiatives and documents care in the medical record.
• Engages in continuous learning and participates in department quality improvement activities.
