Job summary

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Critical Care Transport in Hollywood, FL. The role involves transporting neonatal and pediatric patients, delivering direct patient care in flight or ground ambulances, and coordinating with medical teams to ensure safe, timely care.

Requirements include 3 years of neonatal or pediatric critical care or ED experience, CCRN or C-NPT within 2 years, NRP for pediatrics, and ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of Neonatal or Pediatric critical care or ED experience required.
• Must obtain CCRN and C-NPT certification within 2 years of hire.
• NRP is required for Peds and NEO within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead transport teams and coordinate patient handoffs during emergent and scheduled transports.
• Safely secure patients and safety equipment for transport in aircraft or ambulance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and families; respond to instructions quickly under stress.
• Provide direct patient care during transport and adapt to changing conditions.

# RN - TransportHollywood, FloridaFull-TimeComplexity of Work: This role requires critical thinking skills, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to build and foster positive relationships. The incumbent must be able to lead others and take appropriate action when required. Must be able to safely and securely fasten seat belts and shoulder harnesses in aircraft or ambulance, as provided by the aircraft or ambulance manufacturer, without modification to those safety devices. Able to tolerate stressors of flight and medical transport, including, but not limited to: excessive motion, vibration, extreme temperatures, standing or sitting for prolonged periods, frequent walking, bending/stooping and providing patient care in confined spaces. Able to respond to visual, verbal and non-verbal commands and communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Must be able to lift/push/pull a minimum of 150 lbs. May be exposed to hazardous chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious diseases.Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of Neonatal or Pediatric critical care or ED experience required.\*\*Must have CCRN Critical Care Registered Nurse Certification or C-NPT Certified Neonatal and Pediatric Transport Certification PFCCS Pediatric Fundamental Critical Care Support within (2) years of hire date.
