Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to deliver compassionate nursing care to patients from birth through the life span, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. You will work within organizational policies and maintain standards of practice while coordinating care across the nursing team.

Ideal candidates are newly graduated or experienced in hospital settings, with Georgia RN licensure and BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible (Required).
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia or NLC/eNCL multistate required.
• BCLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in specialty area if applicable.

He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
