Job summary

ProMedica Toledo Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Obstetrics LDRP unit in Toledo, OH. This full-time night-shift role involves coordinating patient care, assessing needs, and collaborating with the care team to improve outcomes for mothers and newborns.

The RN will provide evidence-based nursing care, maintain documentation, and participate in ongoing education and specialty requirements as defined by unit needs.

Qualifications

• Requires current Ohio RN license.
• CPR certification required.
• Specialty certifications as required by units.
• Twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period (minimum 1 hour related to Ohio nurse practice code).

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica's world-class patient care team. As the coordinator of a patient's plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan. In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction. Requirements

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR training.
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period.
• At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.
