ProMedica Health System in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology Lab on a part-time basis. The RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care, communicates with patients, families and the health care team, and helps to improve patient care and staff satisfaction.

The position requires an active Ohio RN license, CPR certification, and ongoing continuing education hours; preference is given to ICU/ER/EP or Cardiac experience.

Qualificações

• Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours related to Ohio nurse practice code.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world-class patient care team. By providing patient-centred care through sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience, ProMedica nurses are dedicated to improving health outcomes for our patients and for the communities we serve.

As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with the patient, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan.

In this position, you will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff as you strive to achieve patient care goals. As a ProMedica RN, you will work to improve patient care, your work environment and patient and staff satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse

• Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.

• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period. At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

• Previous nursing experience in ICU, ER, EP, or Cardiac
