Job summary

UPMC Shadyside's Surgical Team is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3 Main Thoracic Surgery Stepdown unit. This full-time role includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus for RNs with at least one year of experience and a path for growth within a Magnet-designated teaching hospital.

Nurses will rotate shifts to ensure 24/7 coverage, providing high-acuity thoracic and cardiac care, with access to tuition reimbursement, loan repayment, PTO, and career ladders through UPMC.

Qualifications

• ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• BLS or CPR per AHA standards within 30 days of hire.
• Current RN license in the state or a multi-state license.
• Graduate nurses must complete licensure within 6 months of hire and graduation.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities
