Job summary

Bayonne University Hospital is seeking a RN-Telemetry 2R for the night shift to provide specialized care for adult geriatric patients. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions using the nursing process while interpreting cardiac rhythms and delivering ordered therapies.

The role requires NJ RN licensure, BLS, and 0–1 years of experience (2–4 years preferred). Night shift rotations include weekends; high-acuity telemetry environment.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Valid NJ RN License required.
• BLS -AHA (required).
• 0-1 relevant work experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Initiate and deliver nursing care to adult geriatric patients, using the nursing process to guide interventions.
• Interpret cardiac arrhythmias and administer therapy as ordered by the physician; monitor patients post-cardiac monitoring.

Salary Range: $47.30 To $70.90 Hourly

What You'll Be Doing

Able to initiate and deliver nursing care to adult geriatric patients. Identify, demonstrate and evaluate appropriate nursing interventions utilizing the nursing process. Interpretation of cardiac arrhythmias and administration of appropriate therapy as ordered by the physician. Care of the patient requiring observation post cardiac monitoring and possible treatment of arrhythmias. Demonstrate ability to use equipment specific to the Critical Care Services.
