Job summary

Piedmont Columbus Midtown is seeking a Staff Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care across all ages, following the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. You will operate within organizational policies and maintain high standards of practice while coordinating care among assigned staff.

The role requires GA licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS or other certifications may be required depending on the unit, with many certifications completed within 6 months of start

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN licensure in Georgia required (GA RN) or NLC/eNCL multistate licensure.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS or other unit-specific certifications may be required within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff to ensure quality care.
